She is an optician-optometrist and an adjunct lecturer at the University of Vic (UVic-UCC). She is currently a PhD student in the Educational Innovation and Intervention programme, and she teaches English for Specific Purposes in the health field and English for Academic Purposes. She has more than ten years of experience in the healthcare sector of optics-optometry and eight years in university teaching in English. Her research focuses on English language learning in healthcare contexts through the flipped classroom approach.
